St. Christopher’s Esports Team has made history, emerging victorious in the ISA National Esports Minecraft Tournament Grand Final on Saturday, 8th February.

After four weeks of intense online qualifiers, the team secured their place in the top eight and earned a spot in the live finals at Lycée International School. Competing against schools from across the country—including Colchester, Southport, and Harrogate—the team was ready for battle.

The tournament kicked off with the quarter-finals, where each match was played as a best-of-two series. St. Christopher’s won their opening match, securing a spot in the semi-finals. The competition intensified, but the team rose to the challenge, defeating their opponents to reach the grand final.

Waiting for them was Littlegarth School from Colchester—the reigning champions from last year. In a nail-biting showdown, St. Christopher’s outscored their rivals in both matches to claim the national title!
